Graham, Adam, Tony, and Christian have been a band since they were 13 years old, recording since 2016 as Michigan Rattlers. Their pivotal new record, Waving From A Sea, finds the band pairing the heavy hitting lyricism they’re known for with a newfound sonic depth. In brief studio visits between tours, the band spent a year pushing deeper into new sonic territories to create a record that evolved alongside the characters in the songs. Waving From A Sea reckons with the heartbreaking reality of becoming old enough to know that your dreams might not come true in the ways you thought they would. It’s about making the journey from adolescence into adulthood and fighting to find a place in the world.
