This show concept was created in 2006 by Velour owner Corey Fox, and Tyler Glenn of Neon Trees. At the time there were two prominent genres in the scene (Roots-Rock/Americana and Indie/Synth-Rock) and although many of the band members were friends, they didn't ever really play shows together because of the differences in musical styles. This show was created to mix genres and crowds and help build camaraderie and fanbases in the scene. 19 years later that goal is still the same!
