The Plastic Cherries new single “Twister” is out on March 28th!

The Plastic Cherries began as the psych-pop brainchild of SLC “Lovers on the Run,” Shelby & Joe Maddock. With pianist Natalie Hamilton, bassist Stephen Cox, and drummer Wayne Burdick, they have become one of the scene’s most beloved rock bands, joining festivals and touring on a theatrical high-energy stage presence.

After dreaming up a lo-fi sonic universe on their first album “Sunshine”, they expanded into high concept glam pastiche for its sequel, “…On The Moon”. Now, The Plastic Cherries are cooking up something new.

Their third album, “Pure Danger,” promises to pull from broad influences, ranging from AC/DC to LCD Soundsystem, to synthesize the Cherries’ pop art approach to rock.

They’ll be debuting some of these new songs live at Urban Lounge April 18th.
