You might have noticed that we haven’t posted anything in a while. It’s like we’ve been holding back because we knew we were gonna have to tell you this. Our spring tour for 2022 is unfortunately not happening. We have moved the US dates to the fall (slide to see new dates) and will most likely need to cancel the European dates for now.  The Covid-situation is once again out of control and it’s impossible for us to tour when the situation is like this. Traveling restrictions, restrictions for venues, different countries with different rules, the risk of lockdowns or the risk of anyone in the crew or ourselves getting sick and having to cancel mid tour is combined to be too high of a risk to head out on the roads at these times. We were devastated the first time we had to cancel our tour, and are even more devastated this time. It just feels like forever. Adding to that, we’ve been very lucky getting to tour for a while during 2021 in Sweden. We can’t imagine how it feels for all our colleagues in the music industry who also waited with touring for safer times in 2022, now having to cancel again. We miss you all so much. Making music isn’t the same when you can’t show off the real painting. Performing the music you put your heart into is the end result and the essence of what music really is. Something alive. ”Live”. Our thoughts are with our fans around the world. We miss you. We will be back, we will wait for you, we just have to hold on a little bit longer, so please wait for us too.

Smith & Thell are a Swedish Grammy-winning pop/folk band based in Stockholm, Sweden. The duo, composed of Maria Smith (vocals, guitar) and Victor Thell (vocals, guitar, production), first met one another as young teenagers at a local music event in their hometown of Helsingborg in Southern Sweden. 

Their debut album Soulprints was released in April 2017 via the Nordic indie label, Playground Music.
